Silent and Live Auction

Saturday, November 7, 6:00 p.m. - 11: 00 pm.

The 3rd Annual Auction will be held on Saturday, November 7th from 6-11 pm. Items for the auction are being sought. Anyone with items to donate or who is willing to work on the planning committee should contact Laura Derby at 703-360-1976.

The Silent/Live Auction and Dance, one of Rising Hope’s major fundraisers, has become a “fun” raiser as well.  It will be held on Saturday, November 7, from 6:30 – 11:00 pm at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 1301 Collingwood Road, Alexandria.  This event will benefit the ministries of Rising Hope, but it is also taking on a new twist this year of including a light supper and live music by a very popular local band for dancing.  Tickets are $25 per person to cover the costs of the food and band.  (You can’t get dinner and a movie for that price!!)   They are still available by calling the office or e-mailing your order to fallauction@risinghopeumc.org.

Donations of auction items such as gift baskets, antiques, certificates to restaurants or for luxury services, seats to professional sports events, timeshare vacation spots, etc. are all needed. To donate auction items, please contact Laura Derby, Executive Director and Church Administrator, at lderby@risinghopeumc.org or call 703-360-1976 ext. 5 by Tuesday, November 3.

Come on out, support Rising Hope, bid on lots of great items, and have a fantastic time!
